This class enables students to practice hands on Reiki on themselves, and give Reiki to others. Students who then incorporate a daily Reiki self practice will find it brings balance to their life and health.
The core of the training is a series of attunements.
In class you will:
Learn about the fascinating history and heritage of Reiki
Receive instructions and hand positions for practicing self Reiki
Learn the standard hand positions to treat others
Receive four Reiki I attunements spread over several days of class
Understand how the 5 Precepts serve and influence your practice of Reiki
Have plenty of time to practice self Reiki and experience treating classmates
Share your experience and have your questions answered

Healing Through the Heart Retreat: Wallowa Lake, Oregon
May 18-21st, 2023
Are you yearning for renewal? Are you trying to figure out what’s next for you?
So often we tend to dismiss the longings of our heart as superfluous to our daily lives.
But what if we started with the heart? How would that change the quality and pace of our lives?
- We gain more clarity about what we can let go of and commit to
- We can navigate our life with greater skill, creativity, joy, energy and grounded confidence
- We step in to our best heart-centered life
During this retreat we will embrace the riches of Sabbath as we relax in nature and discover the wisdom of our hearts. Our time away will include a tapestry of contemplative practices including gentle body movement, guided meditation, subtle level healing modalities, journaling, deep listening and free time for exploration and hiking. Combining these practices in the natural setting of the Wallowa Mountains will be deeply enriching and memorable. In our noisy world it can seem nearly impossible to find ways to turn off our busy minds which impedes our ability to listen to our heart’s longings. Let’s make space to hear our heart song, awaken, and step into who we are meant to be.
Outcomes of this retreat:
• Expanded somatic awareness as a pathway to contemplation
• Toolkit of meditation practices and healing modalities
• Connection to your own heart’s inner wise counsel
• Ability to discern what wise action looks like in your life
• Experience of deep relaxation and greater resilience
“Your vision will become clear only when you look into your heart. Who looks outside, dreams; who looks inside, awakens.”— Carl Jung
“Before the retreat, I was upset, anxious and struggling with a co-dependent friendship. As a result of the retreat, I was able to let go of my shame and simply deal with the friendship – naming the pattern and saying good-bye. I am no longer contorting myself for her. The impact of this shift has given me more space and ease in my life.”
